Aaron Judge Has Set A Must-See Modern Record

The New York Yankees have been given a tremendous boost this season by the resurgence of Aaron Judge.

While the 30-year-old slugger has dealt with more than his fair share of injuries over the past few seasons, he seems to have found himself again, and that would be an understatement.

He’s hitting .317 with 60 home runs and 128 RBI, and he leads in all those categories, meaning he has a real shot at the Triple Crown.

While he’s close to tying Roger Maris’ single-season home run record in the American League, he’s completely shattered another record.

This year, there is a 20-homer gap between the top two home run hitters in all of baseball.

Judge Destroying In Homer Chase

This is insane.

Judge has been unreal this season and is taking it to a completely different level.

He’s the clear favorite to take home AL MVP honors, even with Shohei Ohtani essentially having a repeat performance of his MVP season from last year.

The Triple Crown will almost certainly guarantee Judge the MVP Award if he reaches that mark.

But his home run pace has been pretty crazy.

The fact that there’s that big of a gap between the top two home run hitters is quite wild.

But it just goes to show how good Judge can be when he’s healthy and in his zone.

This Judge is more akin to what we saw in his rookie season in 2017.

In fact, he’s even better than that.

Judge is simply locked in and there’s no easy way to stop him.

So many records and accomplishments stand before him if he keeps this pace up.

We’ll see if he can get there.
