With more than 50 years of experience, Jannatec Technologies has been developing products for mining companies across the globe, including industry giants like Vale, BHP Billiton, Glencore and Agnico Eagle.

Later this month, at the Mining Transformed 2022 event, the company will demonstrate its innovative products and technologies as part of the world’s first tech exhibition in an underground operating mine.

“Mining used to be considered a risky industry to work in and in September we’ll be front and center for a global audience at the first event of its kind, on the history of mining,” Mark Burnett, project manager at Jannatec, said in a release. “We’ve innovated, kept ahead of industry trends and today we are providing technologies that are making mines, above and underground vehicles, and most importantly miners, safer when they’re on the job.”

“Jannatec Technologies has been a game-changer in modern mining advancements,” said Don Duval, the CEO of Norcat. “They’ve helped put Sudbury on the map globally in terms of innovation, adaptation and mining transformation.”

Jannatec Technologies said it is a leading company in the fields of mining technology and innovation located in Sudbury, with offices in Sudbury, Hamilton and Nevada.

“All of our team works every day to make sure miners on just about every continent work in an environment that is connected and increasingly safe and secure,” Burnett said. “It’s what we’ve been doing as a company for more than 25 years. We’re excited to be part of Mining Transformed 2022 and we’ll see you all at NORCAT’s mine site on Sept. 26.”
